Flash
Flash is an abbreviation for
flash memory. A flash or flashing
describes updating a chip's code
(firmware). Flash memory is a
long-life and non-volatile memory
that erases data in units called
blocks and rewrites data at the
byte level. It can keep stored data
and information even when the power
