Top-level Domain
Top-Level Domain (TLD) or domain
suffix, is short for top-level
domain and is the trailing portion
of the domain. For example, when
visiting yobamoodua.org, “.org” is
Yobamoodua’s TLD.
The original TLDs are: .com, .gov,
.org, .net, .mil, .edu, and .int.
but we now have countless order
TLDs including country codes and
continent codes.
