Capture 
In computing, capture refers to the
process of collecting, recording, 
or storing data from various 
sources. It can apply to different 
contexts, including:

Screen Capture – Taking a 
screenshot or recording the display 
of a computer screen. 

Data Capture – Collecting and 
digitizing information, such as 
scanning documents or using forms 
to input data into a system.

Video/Audio Capture – Recording 
video or audio from a camera, 
microphone, or other input devices.

Packet Capture – Monitoring and 
recording network traffic for 
analysis.
