Interface
An interface is a shared boundary 
across which two or more separate 
components of a computer system 
exchange information. The exchange 
can be between software, computer 
hardware, peripheral devices, 
humans, and combinations of these. 
With software, an interface is a
program that allows a user to 
interact with computers in person 
or over a network. An interface 
may also refer to controls used in 
a program that provides similar 
utility.
